Starting Map: The Bathhouse;

    All characters will arrive on the bridge leading to the towering bath house. From there a voice will speak to them, as if inside of their minds. The voice will tell them where to go in order to survive in this world. Above all, the voice will warn the character not to ask to leave, if they do this they will be kicked out of the bathhouse and they will disappear. This starting area is composed of the following:

      Surrounding the bathhouse and the town lies a heavily over-flooded area of water. In the day time the surface reflects nothing but the sky gaining it’s referenced nickname as the ocean. At nightfall the area looks pitch black. Although at points the water might seem as if it holds no depth but it’s quite deceitful, it’s cautioned individuals shouldn’t go meddling into the water. Creatures and currents are enough hazards to consider it an area to be entered at a person’s discretion. Don’t expect a rescue.

      Because the bathhouse is situated on the edge of a cliff, two distinct levels can be admired. One befalls the higher land where the bathhouse’s main entrance and town reside. Ferry’s are often seen transporting spirits at nightfall. The lower land that was once endless fields of green holds nothing of importance but another ocean and the infamous train tracks.

      The town is full of restaurants and little shops.These places are run by spirits, and Yubaba controls them. Any humans that eat the food here without permission will turn into pigs. Characters can open a shop here, provided they ask Yubaba for permission.

      A little farther from the busy shops on the main path and separated by feilds of cultured flowers grown for sale and the decor of the bathhouse, lies a very well kept farm. Everyone is allowed around these parts since they are still on the work area. This is where the pig-pen's are kept and tends to be very isolated during the day. The breeze is fresh and it's far away from the rest of the area so it makes for a good thinking place.

      The place where the character lives and works. All activity within the building is done at nightfall. During the daytime, the building will seem very isolated with exceptions to the prepping crews and labor’s. Founded on a cliff and built of strong wood, the bathhouse is created to host and maintain hundreds and hundreds of workers and guests. Beside the Bathhouse, on a peninsula, there are a few large barns and acres of fields. This is the farm, all the food the bathhouse cooks with comes from here.

      The lowest level consists of the boiler room run by Komaji: the caretaker and the main operator of all the bath’s. Dark, hot, and covered in magical soot, the only way to get to this room is through one of the maintenance elevators or an outside stairwell that tests even the bravest at heart. Don’t fall down, though. It’s a pretty long fall.

      The workers’ dorms are located above the boiler room and take up two floors. Rooms are separated by sex and can anywhere from 10-15 people living in them at once. You guessed it, it’s quite a tight fit but you have no choice but to manage. Formen and other high ranking workers have ‘private rooms’. These rooms are shared with other ranked workers. Beds are simple futons and must be put away daily. The two floors above that are the storage and the dining areas for the workers. Baths, work offices, kitchens for the clientele and workers, dining halls, and free areas for off-time enjoyment can be found there.

      The middle level consists of the bathing quarters and leisure rooms for spirits. This area can take up to about 7-8 stories if not more since the divisions of the flooring plans are anything but proportional (big ceilings, small ceilings, etc.) All of the luxuries imaginable are found here within these floors. From baths of every size, massaging areas, or private areas for all of those unseen pleasures, you can find it all here. The entrance to the bathhouse is actually about these floors.

      The top level consists of Yubaba’s office and living quarters. Designed as a labyrinth to keep trespasser's away, no one is allowed without Yubaba’s permission into these halls (unless you’re very very ingenious and persistent). There’s no telling what you’ll find through those mirrored hallways and jade-encrusted walls. There’s a rumor Yubaba punishes those that trespass but who really wants to go and find out?
