Simple guidelines to follow; I. First and foremost, here at Hidden By Gods, we're a panfandom community. We accept characters from all sorts of fandoms. If you’re unsure whether your character qualifies, placing a reserve is recommended as is asking one of the mods. No original characters. II. The Activity Check is once a month, taking up the first week of each month. It requires each character to post at least two proofs of activity. This can be a ten comment thread, a post, or a log. If any character does not meet the specified requirement, they will purged. III. NPCs are not allowed, unless for the sake of plotting, special events, etc. IV. The main community, hiddenbygods is for in-character first-person entries. As such, hiddenbylogs is for log-based entries. unhiddenbymuns is for introductions and hiatus announcements amongst other things, while hiddenbymemes is for anything inspirational such as memes, art, and/or crack. Please make sure to post to the respective communities. V. Please stay in-character at all times unless posting within the out-of-character or meme communities. Though this is an Panfandom game, How's My Driving posts are requested to be in a character's journal with a wiki link to a copy of at least the History section of the character's application. We also require that a simple Permission's Post be up in your character's journal. VI. Posts to the main community can be in video; /or/ [video], text; /or/ [text], audio; /or/ [audio], and action; /or/ [action] (also known as or can be labeled as comment-logs; /or/ [comment-logs]). Please label all threads to avoid any confusion. VII. Age Requirement: We ask that all applicants please be persons of 16 years of age or older due to the possibility of mature themes. We do allow characters of all ages here at Hidden By Gods, but things such as violence or gore and other mature content rated NC-17 and/or NSFW (not safe for work) subjects can and will be allowed. We only ask that all logs with mature content must have a warning. VIII. Muncest // Playercesting. Players are not allowed to play two characters who have had multiple interactions within the same fandom. If you are playing two characters from the same fandom, please make sure that they wouldn't interact on a regular basis at all. IX. Please, please, no God-modding. If you are unfamiliar with the term, God-modding means to take a character that is not your own and control their actions without the permission of the character's actual player. X. Irrational behaviour. This includes, but is not limited to, the following: drama, wank, harassment, flaming, spamming, and disputes/arguments. None of this. Please bring concerns and complaints to us Moderators first. We have hiddenbymods page for such incidents, no need to take them on yourself and get caught in something terrible. We'll try to settle any problems as quickly and smoothly as possible. XI. Please respect the other players. Everyone roleplays for fun. Disrespect falls under irrational behaviour, especially if it is for no valid reason. Do not discriminate against any mundane due to their race, religious beliefs, sex, gender, sexual orientation, age, or any other basis. If you have an issue, please keep it to yourself. If a player is found to be doing any of the above mentioned without reason, they will be banned. XII. Everybody needs to hiatus sometimes. Maybe school's starting or they planned a vacation. Or maybe they had a baby. Well, whatever the reason is, please email the Moderators about it or post in our Hiatus post. The longest a person can take a hiatus is ninety days or three months. Character squatting/indefinite hiatuses are not allowed. Beyond that time, the character will be considered dropped. As for drops, please post to the Drop post. XIII. Private posts //Private threads are allowed; however, for private threads please label them as private; /or/ [private], while in the case that you don't want certain characters to be able to see the post/thread, please label it as filtered from _____; /or/ [filtered from _____]. The combination of both (private _____; filtered from _____) is also acceptable. XIV. The following are ban-able offenses: ☠ Disrespect/Direct personal attacks ☠ Slander (a malicious, false, and defamatory statement or report) ☠ Plagiarism: It's okay to pull from your own applications, but copying from other applications that are not your own is unacceptable. ☠ OOC problems expressed IC-ly; IC problems expressed OOC-ly: your character is not you and you are not your character. ☠ The following you will first receive warning about: ☇ OOC behaviour: Though Hidden By Gods is a panfandom game that allows previous CR, we still abide by the canons and characterization of the muses. OOC behaviour is not acceptable. ☇ Lying on an application ☇ God-modding ☇ Inappropiate/Irrational Behavior ☇ Muncest//Playercesting XV.
