I have some questions about animal characters, and one about the translation rings.
I've read where it says says nonhumanoid characters will be allowed, but how much will big characters be shrunk down for the setting's sake? The character I'm interested in apping is an 18-ton dragon, which is probably a bit awkward for this kind of setting. Would his form change from big to travel sized if he went into the bathhouse, or would it remain constant?
In addition, said dragon speaks multiple languages and picks up new ones quickly, like a parrot would; if he becomes ICly aware of the ring's auto-translation capability, could he deliberately speak a different language to circumvent it? In the books he uses Xhosa specifically for the purpose of avoiding eavesdropping, for instance.
